Ingredients
500g pasta (we used penne)

100ml olive oil
- 3-4 cloves garlic (half minced and half sliced)

and pepper to taste
- 3-4 tbsp. grated parmesan cheese (optional)
Directions
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta until al dente.
- Drain, reserving 4-5 tablespoons of the water and set aside.
Heat half the olive oil in a deep nonstick pan and sauté the garlic stirring until golden brown.
Toss the pasta into the pan with the garlic, mix to coat with the olive oil and add the water.
Remove from the heat and add the remaining olive, mixing well to distribute evenly.
- Serve warm sprinkled with parmesan cheese.
