Ingredients
- 50oz cod fillet
- 35oz potatoes, cut into sticks

- 1 cup flour

4 tsp salt
- 2 tsp oregano
- 2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups beer, lager, cold
- 1 tbs baking powder

3/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2cup Greek yoghurt
- 3 tbs pickled cucumber, diced
- 2 tbs caper, chopped
- 2 tbs parsley, chopped
- 2 tbs onion, white, chopped
- 1 tsp white vinegar

Directions
Heat 2 cups of olive oil in a deep pan and fry the potato sticks for 7-8 minutes until golden and crispy. Season with salt and oregano.
Make the batter:
Mix the flour with the baking powder, salt and sugar. Gradually add the cold beer stirring to make a thick batter.
- Dip the cod in the flour and dust off the excess. Dip into the batter to coat evenly.
Heat the remaining olive oil in a deep pan and fry the cod over medium heat for 3-4 minutes on each side to cook evenly.
Make the Tartar Sauce:
Mix the mayonnaise with the yoghurt, pickled cucumbers, caper, parsley, onion and white vinegar.
Serve the fish with the chips hot and a side of tartar sauce.
