Ingredients
- 1.76 lb mackerel fillets
- 1/2 cup oats
- 2 eggs, large
- 4 tablespoons flaxseed, ground
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon dill, finely chopped

- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbs chives
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 6 burger buns
- 2 cups mixed greens

Directions
Heat two tablespoons of the olive oil in a non-stick pan. Dry the fish with paper towels and sauté for 3-5 minutes. Flake and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl combine the eggs with the fish, oats, flaxseed, lemon zest, parsley, dill, salt and pepper.
Knead to make a dough and shape into burgers. Heat the remaining olive oil in a non-stick pan and cook the fish burgers for 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Whisk the mayonnaise with the garlic and chives to make the aioli.
- Fill the buns with the burgers, add dollops of the aioli and mixed greens and serve hot.
