Directions
Using a mortar and pestle, (or a coffee grinder) slightly crush the nutmegs to release their aroma.
Submerge the nutmeg in the oil, in a clean sealable jar. Allow the nutmeg to infuse the oil for 48 hours, preferably in direct sunlight (so, leave it on your window sill) shaking every 12 hours.
Taste a drop and check if the potency is strong enough for you. Discard the nutmegs and store in a dark place for up to a month. If you would prefer a stronger tasting oil, leave the nutmegs in for another 48 hours.
